Hello guys, today I’m going to speak about my opinion about different them.

What is your opinion about owning an exotic pet?

I think that the exotic pet is bad, because generally these animals are wild and they need to be in their natural habitat, not in a cage; also, a lot of these animals are in danger of extinction, and for that, they have to be in a special animal conservation program, not to be someone’s pet.

What is your opinion about women in the military?

I think that women and men are equal, and does not exist jobs for each gender; also, all the people are free in to be and work at job that they want; so, if a woman want to be a military, she has every right to be. Also, we live on times of peace, and not necessary the militaries have to go to the war.

What is your opinion about child labor?

I think that the child labor is very bad, because the children need to be at the school and not to work; also the children need to play and not to do adult things, besides, work takes away their childhood that all people should live normally and without worry.

What is your opinion about recycling?

I think that the recycling is very important for us and the planet. We live in a world that every day has more people, and more people means having more resources, but many of those resources are finite and can end, so it’s necessary to recycle and create awareness regarding with the things that we produce as human beings.

My future job

Hello guys, today I'm going to speak about my future job.

Well, on the future when I finish the career, I would like to work in the MINREL (Ministry of Foreign Affair of Chile) because, I like the international politics; in my future job, I would like to travel a lot, I like to know and visit other places, and if I have that possibility, I would be very happy working there.

Also, I would like to have a second job in my free time, that job is to be tour guide, because I like the tourism and to explain a other people about the place that I live; also I like to do activities outdoors like trekking or to visit others cities. I want to have this second job because with the career that I'm studying, the most likely I will work in an office, and I would like something not as much as that, I do not like being shut in, besides, I have already had experience as a tour guide, because when I lived in Easter Island, I would tour the visits that came to my home, I know the whole island and I know a lot about the island, and I really liked doing that.

Someone I would like to meet

hello, today I'm going to speak about someone I would like to meet.

Well, that person is John 117 (Master Chief), he is the protagonist of the videogame "Halo". The reason is becuase he is an amazing soldier and the principal hero of the humanity (in the universe of this game) on the human-covenant war. Master Chief is very strong and tall because he is a genetically modified soldier, but his most importan quality is that he has good lucky. He was born in 2511 on the human colony planet "Eridanus II", but in 2517, John and ninety children were covertly taken from their homes and replaced whit clones to hide the kidnapping; the children were brought to the planet "Reach", a bastion of the UNSC (United Nacions Space Command), to begin intense physical and psychological training to become "Spartan-II" super soldiers. In the first videogames, Master Chief has a personality very cold, very similar with a machine, but during the game, his personality start to be more human and story of the videogame is more profound about his life.

I admire to John 117 becuase he has done incredibles feat in the war and I love the videogame halo and his universe.

Iceland

Hello guys, today I'm going to speak about the country I would like to visit; Well, at this moment, the country that I want to visit is Iceland, because this country has fascinating landscapes, a culture different from the rest and a very peculiar language (Icelandic is only spoken in this country and don't adopt words from other languages).

Iceland is an island that is located to the north of Europe, has a population of approximately 350000 people and its capital is Reykjavík.

In Iceland I would like to visit many fascinating places, like ancient Viking accents and see incredible natural landscapes like the Fyadrarglyufur canyon.

The truth, I would only like to live a time there, because I would be very far from my family, besides, the climate of Iceland is very hard in winter, something that I would only like to experience and any more.

Where if I would like to study or work would be in Canada, because I know that country, I have family there and life is very good to live.

Hello guys, it's me again!

My name is Esteban Ibáñez and I'm a public administration student at University of Chile. I was born in Santiago, on October 24th, 1997.
My weaknesses are that for me it's difficult to write in English, but I don't have problems  reading in English; Another weakness is that I don´t understand the listenings very well.
My strengths are that I understand when I read in English and I have a good pronunciation.
I hope to learn more vocavulary in English, because my dream is to travel around the world, and for that I need to know English.

My favorite pet

Hello guys, today I'm going to speak about my favorite pet.

My favorite pet is the cat, l love cats, I'm catlover ฅ(=^･ω･^=)ฅ.
I like cats because they are very similar to my favorite animal; my favorite animal is the tiger. Cats are like a little tigers.

The cat is one of the most popular pets in the whole world. They usually weigh between 2.5 and 7 kg; however, some breeds such as Ragdoll and Maine Coon can exceed 11.3 kilograms. Domestic male cats have a life expectancy of between 12 and 14 years, while females usually live one or two years longer. , like most felines, have an extraordinary agility for their size and weight ratio; cats have been observed to jump more than 3.5 m on height.

Domestic cats can be found all over the world, but some species of wild cats are found scattered in different places, such as the Andean cat and the colocolo cat that only lives in Chile. 

Cats are mainly carnivores and have hunter instinct; but in your diet (at least the domestic cat) you can also include other foods that are not just meat.

My blog experience

Hello guys, today I’m going to speak about my blog experience.

I'll be honest, it makes me a little sad because this will be the last post of this blog and I don’t know if I'll ever write again here.

This blog is not the first that I've written, because I personally have another blog, which for a long time has not posted anything there, because I have not given myself the time to do it. In that blog I have published stories and some poems that I have done, because as I once commented in a previous post, I really like to write stories, and the truth is that I'm pretty good at it. I will leave the link below this post if you want to read what I wrote, although there are many unfinished things.

About this blog, I felt very happy to write it, especially in the last post, because now I feel that I can express very well to do the activities for the blog. At first it was not easy, because I had never done a blog in English and many times I did not know what to write because when I write something, I usually use difficult or unusual words in Spanish.

In the future, I would like to continue publishing things in this blog, because I want to continue practicing the written part in English, I would like very much to be able to explain myself here in another language, and not in Spanish where I normally do it.

my favorite subject this semester

Hi guys, I hope that you are very nice day today, and now I’m going to speak about my favorite subject this semester.

Well, this semester I have six subjects, but my favorite is normative framework II. This subject is about law, we see about the duties and rights of the administration as future public officials, like the administrative control and the official contracting.

I will be honest, when I started to study this career, I did not like the law, my first branch on law got a 4.2 on average, but in the second semester, I was with another teacher and I liked her way of teaching, even though I got 4.9 on average. Now I am very fascinated with the subject, this semester all my notes have been about 6.0, and I am very happy with that.

I do not know why I did not like it before, I think it was because I had a lot of reading and a lot of things that I did not understand; Now I still have a lot to read, but I understand everything, and that I think makes the difference.

about the school of public administrators of Chile, and here we can find information about

the public administration and the institution, news about the public administration and

the possibility of belonging to the school (when I finish studying the career).

I frequented this website once every two weeks, to see news regarding public

administration, to know what is happening about it. And I said “I frequented” because the

page at this moment is not updated since August of 2017.

I liked this website because I could only find news about the public administration, but

now as the website has not uploaded anything in months; it is difficult for me to find news

rest on the subject in other sites. That's my sad story with the website.

my hobbies

Hello guys, today I'm going to speak about my favorites hobbies

Well, I have a lot habbies, like to play videogames, but in this moment I play nothing, because I don't have time when I'm in class; I play videogames in my notebook, it's a PC gamer; I can play with others players online, but I prefer to play alone. Other hobby is to collect money from different countries; I started this hobby when I was around 10 years old, when an uncle gave me several old coins and in this moment I have many coins and bills, like more of 100 pieces I thinks, but only the bills are in Santiago, the coins are in Easter Island. But in this moment, my favorite hobby is solve the Rubik cube, I'm with a cube with me all the time; I have 3 cube in this moment, a professional cube 3x3x3, a modified 3x3x3 cube and a 4x4x4 cube my best time is 33.6 seconds to solve the traditional cube (3x3x3); I practice the Rubik cube alone, but one day, I want to compete with other people.

My favorite picture

Hi guys, today I'm going to speak about my favorite picture.

I took this picture, when I went to United States this year on vacation with my family; exactly, I was in Central Park, in New York City, the largest urban park in the world. I felt very cold that day. Well… I felt cold all the trip.

In that place I took a lot pictures, Central park is very large and has many beautiful landscapes.

On the picture, we can see a frozen lake in Central Park, surrounded by trees and a small pergola on the lake. Also, in the pergola were my parents at that time.

I like this picture because the landscape is wonderful, with the frozen lake and the trees without leaves. Also, I like the colors on the picture; always that I see this picture I remember those vacations with my family, the winter and the cold that I felt that day, with all the things that I did and saw being there.

my favorite movie is...

Hello guys, today I'm going to speak about my favorite movie.

Well, my favorite movie is Forrest Gump, I love this film and I have watched it 7 times.

The story depicts several decades in the life of Forrest Gump, a slow-witted but kind-hearted, good-natured and athletically prodigious man from Alabama. Gump witnesses, and in some cases influences, some of the defining events of the latter half of the 20th century in the United States, like in the Vietnam War, or the takeoff of Elvis Presley's career

The film was directed by Robert Zemeckis and stars Tom Hanks (he is my favorite actor), Robin Wright, Gary Sinise, Mykelti Williamson, and Sally Field.

I like Forrest Gump because his story is very emotional and funny. The first time that I watch this film, I was very fascinated.

My favourite piece of technology

What's your favorite piece of technology?

Well… My favorite piece of technology is my smartphone, but I think that I prefer the smartphone because I use that device all the time, like to call, to take picture, to search information, listen to music and to watch video on YouTube or Netflix. In this moment, my cellphone is a LG G5; its camera is very nice and it’s very resistant, but I want a new versions because battery less time. I have never lost my smartphone.

But, if I think even more, for me the best piece of technology is a computer, and I love my computer, it´s a PC Gamer because I like to play videogames. I think that about the computer because in the smartphone you can do all on a little device, but it has a limit for me; I like to used editing programs, like Photoshop or Adobe Premiere; also I like to write stories and on the computer is easier for that; and the most important for me, the videogames that I like to play, I can only play them on a computer.

Why did you choose this career?

Why did you choose this career?

When I was child I thought to be a doctor, because I liked to help other persons. After that, 


when I was in fourth grade my dream job was to be an architect, I loved playing with 


Lego bricks and I wanted to make a lot of buildings, I had a great imagination in that time. 


But in 2013 – 2014, when I was in France by student exchange I knew a lot of thing that 


“I opened my mind” and for 2 years I didn’t know what career to study. In the last year 


of school, a diplomat made a talk about the diplomatic career, and I was excited with that, 


because I love traveling and that career was a big opportunity for working and traveling in the 


same time. After to do the PSU, I wanted to study political science at Univerisdad Católica, 


but my PSU score wasn’t enough for that career; I entered in my second option that was 


public administration, and I wasn’t very convinced, but, when I started the career, I was 


fascinated and I thought that Public Administration was a good idea.

 

I have been an exceptional experience at the University; I know a lot of things and new friends.

 

In the future, I would like to work in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and to work in 

other country. :3

About me

Well... I'm Esteban Ibáñez, and I’m a public administration student at University of Chile.

I was born in Santiago in 1997, but I lived in Colina for 3 years, after that I lived in La Florida, which is where I live today. But since 2010 I have been living in Easter Island, because my father worked there until this year; today he is retired.

I have studied in 3 different schools and I always had good grades. I did my PSU in Easter Island and I got the third best score that year on the island. In 2016, I started to study Meteorology at Escuela Técnica Aeronáutica (ETA), but in that place I couldn’t to fail a subject and I reprobated the subject of English, that is my story sad :c. After that, in 2017 I started to study public administration, but I wasn’t very convinced because I wanted to study political science at Univerisdad Católica and my PSU score wasn’t enough for that career; but, when I started the career, I was fascinated and I thought that Public Administration  was a good idea.

My favorite activity is traveling; I want to know all the world. In my life, I have been in different countries; I have traveled to Brazil, Spain, France, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Czech Republic, Canada and United Stated.
